Welcome to the AFP South Carolina Piedmont Chapter website! We are committed to supporting development professionals throughout the Upstate region of South Carolina. Our chapter has over 100 active members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy. 

If you are a development professional, a volunteer involved in the philanthropic process, interested in fundraising as a career, or just want to know more about AFP, we welcome you!

We hold regular educational meetings at the Thornblade Club in Greer, SC.

Under limited supervision, reporting to the Senior Director of Development, Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences will be responsible for coordination and management of an effective, comprehensive and ongoing development program through major gifts fundraising.
