Our chapter has over 100 active members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

Apr 9 - Assistant Executive Director of Membership Development
Job Description: Under limited supervision, reporting to the Executive Director of the Alumni Association, the Assistant Executive Director of Membership Development directs and manages the recruitment and retention of alumni association members as well as securing member benefits and associated corporate support. Responsibilities include leading the teams' effort to acquire new members, retain existing members, maintain a profitable approach to membership solicitation and recruit and retain existing business partners to support member benefits. Oversees the day-to-day management of membership accrual and renewal process. Directs and manages a team of professional/administrative and clerical/support staff. Communicates issues with staff and key partners and provides updates regarding membership acquisition and retention. This position is required to travel, work evenings and weekends. Apr 7 - Director of Philanthropy
The ACLU-NCLF is seeking a Director of Philanthropy, a fulltime senior leadership position reporting to the Executive Director, to develop and implement a strategy for building new programs that raise funds for the ACLU-NCLF’s annual budget and that strengthen the relationships between the ACLU-NCLF and its supporters. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Philanthropy is responsible for planning, supervising and executing the organization’s major gifts and planned giving programs and developing complementary fundraising and donor cultivation strategies.
