Welcome to the AFP South Carolina Piedmont Chapter website! We are committed to supporting development professionals throughout the Upstate region of South Carolina. Our chapter has over 100 active members, who serve as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy.

Aug 29 - Major Gifts Officer
The Major Gifts Officer is a full-time staff member of Brevard Music Center (BMC) and is responsible for developing and working with a portfolio of individuals to identify, solicit, and secure outright gifts of $10,000 and higher from donors and prospects, in support of Brevard Music Center (BMC) annual operating, programmatic, capital project, and other priority areas, and assist in the area of planned and deferred giving. Expectation is that the Major Gifts Officer will spend the majority of his/her time out of the office on a weekly basis meeting with donors and prospects, and establishing new relationships. Aug 29 - Manager, Special Events and Partnerships
The Manager, Special Events and Partnerships is a full-time staff member of Brevard Music Center (BMC) and plans, coordinates, and executes all fundraising, cultivation, stewardship, and community relations events for individuals, patrons, Board of Trustees, volunteers, alumni, and sponsors in support of (BMC) year-round Development activities. This position develops and services cash and in-kind sponsorships with businesses, individuals, and organizations, and serves as the staff liaison for BMC’s volunteer arm, the Brevard Music Center Association (BMCA). The Corporate and Foundation Relations team is seeking a dynamic and innovative development professional who has a successful track record of working in corporate development and/or in sales. They should desire to work closely with existing and new corporate partners to solicit philanthropic support for the university.
