Wofford on Call Program Manager

The Office of Advancement invites applications for the Wofford On-Call Program Manager position. Reporting directly to the Director of Annual Gifting, the Wofford On-Call Program Manager is responsible for the successful design, implementation, and management of the Wofford On-Call annual giving campaign. The Wofford On-Call is a targeted gifting campaign where current Wofford students solicit for donations by calling friends, family and alumni of Wofford.

The Wofford On-Call Program Manager is a full-time, exempt position located in Office of Advancement. Hours of work performance are approximately 38 hours/week. Depending on program activities and initiatives, evening and weekend hours will be required; otherwise, the normal work schedule is 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. 


  • Program Management and Execution - Manages all aspects of the Wofford On-Call Program, with expectations to exceed targeted program dollar and donor goals.
  • Supervise and Manage Student Employees and Student Supervisor (Lead Worker) - Under the general guidance of the Director of Annual Giving, hire and develop student callers and perform all the related/required administrative support.
  • Other Duties As Assigned – Performs other tasks, duties, projects as required and/or as assigned in contributing to the success of the Office of Advancement.

The Wofford On-Call Program Manager works independently under general supervision and must possess excellent communication (writing, editing, speaking, and listening) skills to effectively carry out the key responsibilities of this position. S/he will be experienced in the use of hardware and software technology, including office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, etc.). Preference will be provided for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree with up to two years of campaign management or project management experience, has supervisor experience, and is proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Outlook).

This position works with confidential information and will be subject to the Colleges’ confidentiality policies. Multi-tasking along with prioritizing tasks/workload to meet timely deadlines is expected in this role.
